Hi, I’m Christina.
I love a great story and I believe we all have one.
I appreciate genuine emotion, which has always driven my passion for photography. I strive to capture images that are thoughtful and natural, focusing on moments of authenticity.
I also prefer a friendly and laid-back approach to sessions. Rolling with things allows others to feel comfortable. I value the importance of keeping everyone at ease and I care about what matters to those I’m photographing. I believe in creating an atmosphere that makes collaboration effortless and enjoyable.
I’m also a big believer in laughter during shoots, spontaneous dance breaks if you need them, and making sure you feel totally at ease in front of the lens. I know it can be uncomfortable for some and intimidating for others to have their photo taken,
If you like what you see and you’re interested in talking, feel free to email me, or send a carrier pigeon—whatever works.
Some Fun Facts.
I live in Colorado but am forever a Pacific-Northwesterner at heart. This means I love rainy days that go on for weeks and I have strong opinions on how coffee should taste.
My passion for portraiture began with a cover of a National Geographic Magazine when I was ten-years-old. Since I didn’t have a camera, I taught myself how to sketch portraits using No. 2 pencils and magazines as references.
I attended the Art Institute of Portland, Oregon and left with a bachelors degree in Website/Graphic Design.
I love music and it’s not too often that I’m not listening to any.
I'm very much a homebody.
My favorite photos are the ones that are captured during moments when no one is paying attention. That's when the natural expressions, emotions, and interactions between people happen.
My entire personality is centered around old songs that jiggle loose nostalgic emotions.
